“ Aodake has a sister restaurant: a sushi and steak house in Romeoville. The Lagrange location is Ramen focused entrees are 13 to 19; it's great for a casual dinner out or lunch. We tried the Octopus balls appetizer; Octopus is diced up and combined with a dough, then deep-fried. Served with dried binoto flakes (tissue paper thin shaved fish with an intense umami flavor). The heat from the fried balls makes the flakes move in an almost life like manner. The Kaisen, a chicken and clam broth with scallops shrimp, calamari, and a seasoned (marinated in soy sauce) soft-boiled egg, is a refreshing unique option. Chicken Paitan is a more traditional chicken soup with vegetables and seasoned egg. Customize any Ramen, Undon, or Rice Bowl with 30 different toppings from a variety of mushrooms, tofu, shrimp, and chicken. The spice level is also customizable from 1 chili pepper level to three. ”

“ I’ve been a regular here for about a year and have never had a negative experience. The staff is super friendly and attentive, and the food/drinks are super yummy. The portion sizes are also perfect. I bring a lot of my friends here as well, who would also agree! ”

“ Honestly one of the best Ramen places I've ever been at! The staff is super kind and patient and always there when you need them. The Ramen is super delicious and the appetizers such as the Edemame and Gyoza is to die for! Always order those myself when i get there. I can eat a hundred of the Gyozas if i could lol. Definitely a place i recommend as the environment itself is calm and soothing to be around as it's usually empty for you to enjoy! Music also adds to the feels. My favorite go to is the Chicken Paitan Ramen with level 1 or 2 spice and some extras added in like chicken and noodles. I love spicy food but the first 2 levels is great to enjoy and taste the flavor instead of it being overwhelming. 5 big stars! Always feels like heaven when i go here EDIT: 3 Years later and still coming on dates here! Still eating one of the most delicious foods ever here! “ Checked out Aodake in La Grange for a birthday dinner and had a great experience. The atmosphere is super chill, the servers were so attentive and kind, and the food was fantastic. We ordered the dumplings and pork buns for appetizers which were very delicious. I had the spicy veggie ramen and it had the right amount of spice! We had sides of chicken and shrimp fried rice which were some of the best we ever had. My daughter ordered a watermelon milk boba tea that was very refreshing. Definitely recommend! ”

“ It was our first time coming to this restaurant and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere was soothing and welcoming. The food was served promptly and it was as described per menu and server. Our server's name was Ruby and she went above and beyond the expectations. She was extremely attentive and thorough. She also made our party feel welcome and comfortable and that is particularly hard with small children and she was off the charts amazing! Also the young man making sure our orders were right and our waters were never empty made us feel well taken care of and an amazing experience. We will definitely be coming back! ”
